** DIRECTIONS **
By plane: The distance from the FLORASOL to the south airport (TFS) is aprox. 100 km (60 miles) and to the north airport (TFN) aprox 25 km (16 miles). Ask for an airport shuttle!
By ship:
The distance from the FLORASOL to the port of Santa Cruz de Tenerife is aprox. 32 km (20 miles), if you are travelling from Cadiz, Lanzarote, Fuerteventura or Gran Canaria . If you come from Gomera, Hierro or La Palma you will embark at the port of Los Cristianos which is aprox. 120 km (75 miles) away from us. Ask for a port shuttle!.
By car:
The most convenient way travelling from the south of Tenerife to us, is driving on the “autopista del sur” towards Santa Cruz. Before you arrive the suburbs of the capital leave this motorway and continue on the “Conexión de la autopista del Norte” which climbes steep up the mountains. Follow the signs to La Laguna and Puerto de la Cruz. On the “auotpista del norte” continue so far as you reach the exit no.35 (Puerto de la Cruz por las Arenas). Then follow the main road which runs parallel to the motorway to a roundabout. Here at a Shell filling-station take the first street to your right “Carretera General de las Arenas”. Follow this road -downhill- through the suburbs of Puerto de la Cruz. You will see the sign for the Casino Taoro, but keep driving on the main street until you reach the Camino del Coche - just between the Hotel Puerto Palace and the Hotel Sol Elite. Only aprox. 100m (350 ft) downhill and you will see on the right side the terraces of the FLORASOL.
By public bus: The only public transport on the island are the green busses from TITSA. No. 340 is a direct bus from TFS and TFN-airports to Puerto de la Cruz. From Santa Cruz to Puerto de la Cruz take the express line no.103. In Puerto de la Cruz get off the bus at the central bus terminal, which is the last station. From the bus station to the FLORASOL it is a short 10 min. walk -uphill- or an inexpensive taxi ride.
By bicyle: Ask us for the best backroads in order to get to the FLORASOL from any place on the island. Of course we offer as well special bike shuttles to any point on Tenerife.
